The Alexander Filipenko Winter Sport Center, Khanty-Mansyisk, Russia

The Alexander Filipenko Winter Sport Center was put into operation in December 2000: stadium, shooting range, stands, which are able to host more than 10 000 spectators, sports school, roller-ski tracks, bridges and tracks, sports club, and hotel complex. Construction of the first press-center and building of team cabins was finished in 2002.

The center, which is located in the down town on the level of 83 meters above sea, was reconstructed to the IBU World Championships Biathlon 2011. The course passes on the height from 63 to 114 meters above sea level.
